Online Registration:

Every participant is required to make online registration through our web page. The steps for online registration are as follows:

Step 1: Go to https://umconference.um.edu.my/

Step 2: Click User Registration to register your account. Please follow the instructions and filled all the required information. An activation link will be emailed to you. Please click on the activation link in order to confirm your registration. This is an account validation step to ensure proper account registration.

Step 3: Log in to your account.

Step 4: After log in, go to Conference List and search Conference by Title: 26TH REGIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON CHEMICAL ENGINEERING and click Register. 

Step 5: Fill in the Registration Form and select to be registered as a Presenter or Participant (non-presenter) and click Submit. 

Choose Presenter if you choose to submit paper to RSCE2019 Conference Proceedings.

Step 6: You are now registered!

Step 7: If you are intending to submit a conference paper, you need to download the Abstract Template containing specific format guidelines for RSCE2019 Conference Proceedings.

  1. Please click here to download the Single Abstract Template.
  2. Please click here to download the Multiple Abstracts Template. For multiple abstracts submission the authors are required identify Paper Number in same line as Paper Title. The Multiple Abstracts Template is showing an example of three abstracts submission.

Step 8: After your abstract is ready, you can submit your abstract by following the guide. Please click here to view how to submit your abstract. The abstract must follow the format required for RSCE2019 Conference Proceedings. Please do not forget to attached the completed abstract.

Step 9: Once abstract acceptance is confirmed, a letter of acceptance will be email to each registered participant. Please check email box regularly.

Step 10: Participant is required to submit the full paper by the deadline 31st July 2019. Notification of full-paper acceptance will start by 30th August 2019.

Online Payment:

Step 11:

Payment wise, there are two types of participants, Presenters and Non-Presenters:

  1. Presenters: After receiving Acceptance Notification, please submit payment and send proof of payment to rsce2019@um.edu.my.
  2. Non-Presenters: Make payment after successfully registering for the Conference and send proof of payment to rsce2019@um.edu.my.

 

Additional discounts for multiple paper submissions :

  1. First Paper: Full registration fee.
  2. Second Paper: 20% discount.
  3. Subsequent Paper: 30% discount for each paper.
  • Conditions for discounts:
  1. All the papers must be submitted together through the same registered account. Link to instructions how to submit multiple abstracts/papers.
  2. This discount is applicable to regular participants only since student registrations are already discounted.

 

Group registration (3+1) is available for participants from the same institution:

  1. First three participants: Full registration fee for each participant
  2. Fourth participant: 50% discount

Once the correct payment schedule selection is made, payment can be made in the following ways:

  1. Instant Interbank Fund Transfer (IBFT), Interbank Giro (IBG) or Telegraphic Transfer (TT)

  2. Credit Card

  3. Internal Transfers (Universiti Malaya only)

Note: All bank/transfer charges are to be paid by the participant and must not be deducted from the conference fees.

Step 12: You will receive a conference participation confirmation once we receive the email with proof of payment.
