Abstract

Generally, the purpose ofthis study is to determine the organizational factors and its implication with level of work motivation among women staff in Sarawak State Library. Questionnaires were circulated to get the feedback from 40 women staff. Data were analyzed by using descriptif and inferential statistic including Pearson Correlation and one-way ANOVA. Organizational factors such as work design (r = 0.415, P = 0.008) had a moderately strong with level of work motivation, also supervision (r = 0.391, P = 0.013) is positively correlated significantly with work motivation but relation with is weak Other organizational factors such as reward (r = 0.238, P = 0.139) and work group (r = 0.012, P = 0.939) is not significant with level ofwork motivation. One way ANOVA shows there is not significant diffirence based on demographic factors such as age, qualification level, marital status and years ofworking ofwomen staffwith level ofwork motivation.
