Abstract

The aim of this research is to iden tify the effect of knowledge, skill and ability influencing the relationship between communication and psychosocial and individual academic performance. In this research, the dependent variables are psychosocial and individual academic performance. Meanwhi le, the independent variable is communication and the moderation variable is KSA (knowledge, skill and ability). 250 of UNIMAS students are randomly selected as a sample for this research. The instruments used are in depth interview method and questionnair e. Hypotheses testing result by using Regression Hierarchy Moderation Analysis showed that knowledge, skill and ability can act as moderator toward the relationship between dependent and independent variables. The implications of this research toward theor y and mentoring practices, conceptual framework limitation, research methodology and future recommendation also will be discussed in this research.
