Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the level of success of organization in becoming a learning organization and the factors that influenced by its success. Specifically, it aims to find out if there is any relationship between these variables. This study was done on 72.7 percent of the staff from CMM. Specifically the total sample was covered 40 out of 55 staff and which were randomly selected. A set of questionnaire was used to collect data. The collected data was analyzed using computer software, Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), which covered two types of statistical analysis; the descriptive statistic and inferential statistic. Result of the study showed that all the tested independent variables (organizations culture, senior management commitment, managers' skills, employees' attitudes organization of work and human resource development resource) were significantly correlated to the success of organization in becoming a learning organization. Organization of work was found to be the dominant factor that influences the success of organization in becoming a learning organization. The paper concludes with some recommendations that would allow for improvement of learning organization. In addition, researches should be improved in term of increasing the size of sample and factor. Besides organization also conduct a more in-depth study in order to get more reliable results.
