Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the . factors that influence job motivation of supporting staff at University Malaysia Sarawak. The independent variables in this research are the working environment, job design, reward and promotion. The dependent variable in this research is job motivation. In this research, the data was collected using questionnaires. 67 or 10.7 respondents . from the overall population of 624 supporting staff at UNIMAS were involved in this research. The research findings were based on the score that each factors have obtain. Research findings showed that the highest score . for the motivation. factors is the working environment (2237), followed by job design (2121), reward (2081), and promotion (2054). Based on the research findings, factors of working environment, job design, reward and promotion have influences toward job motivation
