Abstract
This thesis is written to expand the vast uses of film in presenting literary subjects as a prominent role in filmmaking. This research also covers the identification of methods used in poetic structures for adaptations into films. With this knowledge in mind, the adaptation from poems to films requires keen observation and intricacy towards the subject matter that is being cultivated. This research involves two impol1anl pieces (poems) regarding the enlightenment of a community towards a better future. The media is often influenced by literary pieces and more prominently, by films that have the power to change opinions and stances. The researcher acts to combine both of these elements to form an interactive and flexible platform that can deliver an intriguing yet interesting message. Besides that, the purpose of this research is also to provide a positive image towards both devices. Therefore, this research is to be carried out in order to extract the hidden potential of both films and poetic devices in their individual characteristics and combine them to from a higher state of enlightenment in the media.
