Abstract

Web Based Knowledge World System (Education Department) is a web based application system. The entire question provided in this system is from the K-Readiness Index for Sarawak (KRIS) survey questionnaire. Currently, state administrators and education department staff are still doing the survey manually. There are many problems occurs by using the manual system such as all the data information is collected only from Sarawak Education Department (headquarters), difficulties in getting information and also taking quite a long time to received the information submission from them. Beside that, sometimes the information needed is not complete or missing. Therefore, this system is required to provide the platform for the education department and stale administrators for data collection. Beside that, to help state administrators make analysis and help them in making decision for the state. Based on the research that had been done, PHP scripting language and MySQL database is suitable. for this system. Therefore, this system was developed by using PHP scripting language and MySQL database. The outcome from this system is state administrator will know the level of education in Sarawak
