Abstract

Traditionally, wayfinding design is perceived as signage indicators and instruction of directions. Researchers believed that succesful wayfinding designs strongly rely on the visual presentation of infonnation graphics itself. This study entitled " Research on the Effectiveness of Information Graphics In Digital Wayfinding" is conducted to investigate the application of information graphics in wayfinding design, and also to justify how effective the visual presentation in enhancing users' wayfinding experience. This study is focuses on the UNIMAS new campus wayfinding design, and to study the delivery of the information graphics to the public. As a result, a new wayfinding solution will be propose to serve as an alternative communication method, which will provide users a second option in their wayfinding task and improve their wayfinding experience.
