Abstract

Special effects makeup in film is important in film to create necessary yet realistic effects. Effects like fake cuts, scars, and burns are few examples of what special effects makeup can create. For these effects there are special materials used to create them. Among those are latex, wax, tissue and much more in regards 10 create a realistic effect. Besides that, there are special effects makeup that is capable of bringing an imaginary character to life by adding realistic-looking effects that can influence the audience. Given so, there are materials that are not suitable to be used in Malaysia as the weather in terms of humidity and hem does not allow it. This research is based on the experiments that the researcher will carry out based on special effects makeup materials that are most suitable to be used in Malaysia based on the weather to create fake cuts/bruises.
