Abstract

The purpose of. this research is to determine stress management strategy among the staff at Jahatan Agama Islam Sarawak, Kuching. The study involved 45 respondents from the organization. The methods used in this study were distributed to the respondents by questionnaires to collect information needed. The results of the finding were analyzed by using statistic descriptive and statistic inference. The statistic descriptive method was used to measure the respondent 's demography as gender, status, race, religion, age, length of service, unit of service and position. Meanwhile, the inference statistic that included Pearson Correlation was used to test the null hypothesis and the objectives in this study. From the result it show that there was an effective stress management strategies were used by respondents that are sharing their failures, praying and encouraging attention to one subject in one time. The result also show that there are correlation between demographic. fcictors that are gender, age, unit of service and length of'service with stress management strategies and stress level
