Abstract

Identified as one of the ecotourism clusters in the National Ecotourism Plan 2.0 (2020–2030), the Sibu-Kapit-Tunoh-Baleh-Pelagus has been earmarked to be a potential destination where sustainability of the ecotourism products is to be preserved. The objectives of the ecotourism clusters were to ensure that the Sibu-Kapit-Tunoh-Baleh-Pelagus cluster could be developed sustainably through community-based tourism as well as to empower holistic development of the homestay experience programme.
