Abstract

Speech and Language Impairment (SLI) is a development disability that affects the normal functioning of speech. People who suffer from this disorder have difficult to pronoun word correctly. These days, applications for mobile devices have started develop to assist children with speech disorder in their therapy as well as in learning. In fact, children with speech impairment are more attracted to these kind of technology compared to the traditional one. Therefore, we have proposed a method to assist them in speech learning by developing an interactive mobile game application. This is an application that designed to improve the speech of the children with speech disorder throughout the application. They will have to go through different types of basic alphabet learning and complete game in the application. However, this application only can be played by mobile devices that support Android Operating System. In future, this application could be developed mobile devices that support other platform such as iOS and Windows.
