Abstract

The indigenous community have been planting some crops in their area and taking those crops as their food. They also sell the crops but with an extremely cheap price. In order to make a better living and income, they will have to plan on a greater strategy by taking the agricultural trend to a higher level. Due to the shallow knowledge on the real market price of those crops, they could learn more about the marketing strategy through a website or a portal which is about to be developed in this project. Besides, the community will then hopefully get some guidelines to plant the crops properly and obtain more information on the crops. Therefore, one of the objectives of this project is to develop a proposed system for the indigenous community. It is designed to be solution for the problems. The proposed system is to provide information regarding the crops and fertilizers which the indigenous community can use in their farming activity. The approach used to develop the system is unified process. A portal or website is then produced through the process. The website is then tested and analyzed. From the implementation and testing phase, the results are shown in the project and every detail is explained. The outcome are observed and discussed. The prototype is tested to meet the expected result and fulfill all the requirements as well as the project objectives. Any kind of results are discussed and evaluated to know the constraints or the limitations of the project. It could also be the limitations of the projects or the system. For example, the functions done are generating the planning report, income and sales report too. From the income or sales report, the indigenous community can plan on their farming activities for better production.
