Abstract
The weather these days is very unpredictable. The weather can be sunny in the morning and before you know it, turns to rainy in the evening. Unpredictable weather makes it hard for any individual to do any planning especially when it involves outdoor activities. An application for weather monitoring has a great potential to improve one's life. This paper proposed a realtime web-based weather monitoring system that can be used to convey weather updates in a specific place, as well as weather estimations for the day. This system involves the collection of real-time data for the weather estimation operation whereas the weather updates is gained through the user's opinion on the weather. Real-time web-based weather monitoring system offers privileges to the user to post weather updates which can be viewed publicly by other users through the system. This system benefits the user as they can keep themselves updated with the weather around them as well as helping them with their activity planning in a day.
