Abstract

Selecting the right Bachelor's Degree Program in university is one of the most important aspects to ensure one's future career success. One's interests, strength and personality play a crucial role in determining which careers will provide them with the most personal satisfaction. However, most of the university applicants are facing problem in selecting the most appropriate degree program as they do not have a proper self-evaluation to explore their personality and do not gain a filler understanding of the degree program options. Selecting an inappropriate degree program might waste their time and money. Therefore, an online system is proposed to assist university applicants in exploring their personality traits and preferences, provide details of each degree program and offer a platform to seek advices from online advisor. With all the features provided, the proposed system will help university applicants to gather all the relevant information beforehand and consider all the options which suit their interest before making such life-altering decision.
