Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between time management and work life balance among police officers during Covid-19 Pandemic. The instrument used in this stage was closed ended questionnaire with five Likert scale. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0 was used for data analysis. Pearson Correlation was used to measure the hypotheses of the study. Pearson Correlation was used to test the relationship between independent variables which is priorities, procrastination, control interruptions and dependent variable (work-life balance). Fifty respondents have participated in this study which is, thirty nine are assigned for the actual study. The employees that participated were from all police officers both male and female police officers. The findings of this study have revealed that there is a need to make improvement on the current work –time management and few suggestions on other work – family policies which can be implemented. Last but not least, the results from this study were important for HR practitioners to build an understanding of time management and work-life balance environment in the organization so that work-life balance initiatives are supported by the organization in helping employees, especially those are having difficulties to manage their time management. This can be a ground for the employees to have a proper balance between their work and family domain.
