Abstract
This study is conducted to determine the relationship between work-family conflict and organization commitment among preschool teachers in Sabah. The independent variable of this study is work-family conflict (time-based conflict, strain-based conflict, and behaviour-based conflict) whereas the dependent variable is organizational commitment. There is a total of 62 respondents involved in this research study. The data collected are analyzed by using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26.0 and the methods used to analyze data are Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Linear Regression. From the findings, it was proved that there was a weak negative relationship between work-family conflict and organizational commitment. This study reveals that time-based conflict and strain-based conflict has a significant relationship with organizational commitment. Besides, behaviour-based conflict was insignificant relationship with organizational commitment. The result also shows that there were two dominant factor that influence organizational commitment in this study which are time-based conflict and strain-based conflict. Therefore, the Human Resource Practitioners has the responsibilities to pay more attention on employees’ well-being and comes out with effective strategies to help the employees in balancing their work and family life
