Abstract

A lot of people have been through grief experiences due to loss of loved ones where that phase are most difficult for each of everyone to face it. Each of everyone have difference sides of story about grieving experiecence but some of us may have trouble to continue their normal lives as usual without the deseaced. This study was conducted to explore the experience of grief due to loss loved ones among young adults in Sarawak. The design of this study is qualitative and using interviews with the participants. Participants who participated in this study are individual who are losses their loved ones at MirI, Sarawak. A participant was interviewed for pilot study to ensure the effectiveness of research method that have been selected. For this research, a total of four participants were selected using purposive sampling technique by define target participants and list the characteristic to be met by the participants. This study found that besides they are helping themselves to overcome the grieving and sharing with others, agency such as Malaysia Mental Health Association and other angecy should give a help for young adults who have difficulties like this. Thus, the researcher hopes that this study will be beneficial to the relevant parties.
