Abstract

This research focuses on the study of figurative as the subject matter in the making of ceramics contemporary artwork. Researcher had identified the dominant elements in the making of figurative artworks. The observation and analysis of data through comparison had been used to achieve the objective in this research. Relevant media and technique was also looked into for the making of the final artwork. The outcome of this study was projected in the series of metaphoric work by employing human head and horn as the main subject matter. It was implied that this research could be made as a milestone for researchers on this subject of figurative. Thus it was highly recommended that this form of artwork should be explored further towards the exploration of employing mix media.
