Abstract

Lignocellulytic organisms is an important catalyst which derived high value bioproducts through biotechnological approaches. Recent studies reported that lignocellulosic waste produce phenolic compound which were proved by assay of endoglucanase and total phenolic content. Solid state fermentation was major technique to produce enzyme and establish evidence of fungi reaction. Analytical analysis for identification were Gas Chromatography Flame Ionization Detector (GC-FID) and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) with preliminary characterization analyzation of standards. Result obtained from glucose and phenolic assays were amazing, shows the variation of those desired components; glucose degradation and phenolic content from every waste used respectively. No peak observed from GC-FID due to high concentration needed to analyze the concentration of standard phenolic compound presence in the extracts. TLC produced no spots for comparison with pure phenolic or antioxidant compounds. Therefore, the goal is to study the function of SSF method produce bioactive compound, thus to find out suitable endophytic fungi aid in bioconversion of lignocellulose that synthesizing hydrolytic enzymes. This in tum will be good for future development and production of value added bioactive secondary metabolites for pharmaceutical purposes.
