Abstract

This research is about The Management of Conservation and Preservation Masks of Sarawak Collections in Sarawak’s Museum Etnology. The purpose of the research is to identify the method applied on Masks of Sarawak during the conservation process used by conservation department. Next, is to review the materials used to conserve the collections Masks of Sarawak and how to control the temperature, humidity, and light used to make sure the collections Masks of Sarawak not easily damage. The finding data will be elaborate into researcher’s writing which is getting form the interview, observation and field study. The researcher targeting six expert’s informants Masks of Sarawak in Sarawak Museum Department. Furthermore, based on the research had been done, the researcher found a new discovery which is the conservation method.
