Abstract
Recently, the digital wallet in Malaysia has grown rapidly. However, generation Y as tech-savvy who grow up with technology did not have high attention and usage of digital wallet even it brings convenience to their life. This research aimed to examine the factor that influencing generation Y's behavioral intention to adopting digital wallet in Klang Valley by employed Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) as a research model. There are 400 target respondents has been gathered through an online distributed questionnaire. Then the data is analyzed using Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The result shows Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influences, Facilitating Condition, Hedonic Motivation, and Habit are positively related to generation Y' behavioral intention on adopting digital wallet. This study is beneficial toward digital wallet service provider and education in order to improve the understanding of generation Y's behavioral intention to adopt digital wallet.
