Abstract

Lecturer, students, staff, and visitor in UNIMAS plays important roles in accessing a lot of doors especially the lecturer room door which always will be a busy status because too many people are visiting the lecturer. Although, there is a solution by sending an email to meet the lecturer for fix an appointment or presenting and breaking the promises due to emergency purposes to solve the current practice, but it does not consider this Door Management System. The methodology used in this proposed system is Rapid Application Development. To obtain a deep understanding for the proposed system, a literature review has been conducted with four reviewed systems. After reviewed, requirements will be gathered through observation and reviewed system in requirement analysis phase. In system design phase, context diagram, Data Flow Diagram, system architecture and web interface design for mobile and pc were drawn. In the end of Final Year Project 1, the idea and design of proposed system have been identified. The implementation and testing phase vii of proposed system has been defined in Final Year Project 2 based on the requirement analysis and system design that identified. The significance of this project can assist UNIMAS lecturer’s students, staff, and visitors for using of their door and meeting the lecturers to be more efficiently. In addition, this project can support the lecturer to be easy in handling students’ presentation.
