Abstract

Library Kota Samarahan provides lots of materials such as books, storybooks, magazines, newspapers and many more. There are almost over 1,000 of books including other materials that are available in the library. Every library will records all the particular of books whenever there is new arrival of books within a year. Hence, the data will increase every year, as the books arrived and contribute from other ministry every year. Therefore, ePB: Book Profiling Management System for Library Kota Samarahan will guide and assist the library staff to manage all the details of the books. Furthermore, the system will display data visualization to analyze and monitor the data regarding the books as well as enhance their decision making. Besides that, the proposed system will developed by using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology that consists of four (4) main phases such as requirement analysis, user design, construction and cutover. On the other hand, the hardware and software requirements are provided, user design are illustrate by using Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Wireframe.
