Abstract

Interactive FCSIT Wayfinding Apps (IT-WIPs) is a wayfinding system used by the users to find a specific destination in Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT) through the mobile application. This system will help users to get guidance with pathway from the standing point to a specific destination by only using the smartphone. The method makes a user using a social media such WhatsApp’s, messenger, also make the phone call and relay on the sign boards are wasting time when wrong information is given. Another problem, with heavy stuf carried along such as laptop, user will encounter some dif iculties and end up exhausted especially student. By proposing this Interactive FCSIT Wayfinding Apps, the user can reduce time to find a specific location by scanning the sign board and user also easy to find the shortest distance to a specific location in FCSIT through mobile device. The methodology that used to develop this proposed system is a Rapid Application Development (RAD).
