Abstract

The purpose of the project is to create a model prototype that will help motorcyclist crossing the road safely and help them fight the vehicular accidents trauma. In this project, a camera will be used to capture the motion and speed of the incoming vehicles and the processor will do the speed calculation. The result will be either dangerous or safe and will be based on the average time the motorcyclists cross or exit the road, the distance between the incoming vehicles and the motorcycle, and the speed of the incoming vehicles. All survey, simulation and experimental work will be done.
