Abstract

Almost every organization or company need a room booking system to manage the resources for a better arrangement of meetings. The web application of FCSIT Book-and-Meet is developed for the use of the staffs within the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT). Moreover, the development of the project is based on the requirements of the staffs of FCSIT. A user friendly system will be the concern of the development of this system. The study of planning and designing on web application development of a room booking system is proposed in this report. There will have two main users in the system, which are administrator and staff. They are given the access to make a booking, edit the booking, delete the booking and view the booking. However, managing the user, room and email template can only be done by the administrator. The development of the system provides the user an effective and efficient way to book a meeting room.
