Abstract

Library is important for every institution where study resources can be found. Every library is called learning bank for every institution or individuals. However, nowadays institutions are focusing to develop their library online rather than having traditional library in order to get easy access into resources from remote location. In FCSIT (Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology) study resources are not in the web, as result student cannot access in study resources through online. So that students and stuff can access, maintain FCSIT study resources from remote location by using proposed system. The main objective is to develop a web-based library which is hosted on cloud using amazon cloud storage EC2 instance. To develop this project Amazon cloud storage will be used because of its flexibility and security features. The comparison between cloud based and shared hosted or dedicated hosted web is given. The analysis of the existing system is done in this project. However, we found amazon cloud service is the best result from comparison between others cloud service providers. The main purpose for this project to make sure that FCSIT study resources are available in web and it is accessible to all student
