Abstract

Data for body size abundance relationship comes from two sources; primary and secondary sources. The sampling was conducted at Permai Rainforest Resort on 2° of' November until 6" of November. The study area was divided into two different sites which were Site A (1°45.415' N and I 10°19.032' E) and Site B (1 °45.491' N and 110°18.967' E). Meanwhile, secondary data were retrieved from published and unpublished data. The secondary data are consists of data from sampling done at Damai Golf and Country Club, Gatling National Park, Mount Jagoi, Mount Singai and Wind Cave. Regression analysis was used as statistical technique for modelling the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables. The regression analysis were analysed using SPSS version 21.0. A total of 1024 individuals consist of 35 bat species from six families were recorded. The most dominant species was Dusky Fruit Bat (Penthetor lucasii) with total of 410. All the localities show positive value which show the opposite results proposed by Energetic Equivalence Rule.
