Abstract
This study is the retention of heritage oriented handicrafts wood carvings Iban. The study focuses on how the role of management and activities to preserve the heritage of wood carvings Iban young people or community. Moreover, peeled also issues faced by institutions in the craft or class sculptors woodcarvers to continous the Iban heritage. Researchers also looked at the efforts made by the institution to maintain the craft of woodcarving. The infonnation in this study is very important to spread the importance of preserving our heritage of Than wood carvings while helping to increase its potential as a product of culture and heritage.
