Abstract
The policies of the government and involvement ofthe private sector into the reforestation program has increased the demand of certain trees to be use for replanting. The huge size of land to be plant created the need to prepare a suitable nursery to accommodate the demand of such seedling. The cost production of the nursery is one of the important factors to be considered as it will determine the sustainability of the nursery and cost per seedling to be sold. Part of the factors that influenced the costing is the containers or pots that are use as to prepare the seedling and the type of medium use to plant the seedling. The most important things is the growth of the seedling is good for transplanting and a suitable container and medium which can reduce the cost and handling of the nursery is always being studied and search for.
