Abstract
This research is to study the factors that affect voters in the parliament of Pasir Mas, Kelantan. Parliament of Pasir Mas, Kelantan have 3 component parties which are Barisan Nasional, Pas and Bebas. According to the record of Suruhanjaya Pili han Raya, there are 71 965 registered voters in Pasir Mas, Kelantan. Citizens in the area of Pasir Mas have different backgrounds. Factors that have been analyzed to study the behavior of the voters are social, family, leadership of the candidates, parties itself, med ia and peers. These factors are the factors that have affect the behavior of the voters in the process of voting. Besides, in this research researcher sees the involvement of the voters duning the election. In the result of this research, family are not the dominant factor in that affect the voters' decision. The factors that are significant are the leadership of the candidates, parties that took part, and media. Even though there are many issues that have pop out lately, it never affect voters in Pasir Mas, Kelantan. Besides the factors that have been mention, people in this are also see the Islamic concept that the candidates bring. This is because the citizens in this area are majority Muslims.
