Abstract

This study is about the relationship between the socioeconomic status on the using of the electronic cigarettes. Nowadays, most of the users are affected by the electronic cigarettes rather than conventional cigarettes. Besides, most of the users are addicted to electronic cigarettes due to smoking cessation and nicotine without mind of the health impact on themselves. Therefore, this study would like to examine the nexus of the socioeconomic status on the electronic cigarettes based on their income, education and occupation background. Not only that, this study also would like to identify the awareness ofheaIth impact on the electronic cigarette's users. This study took a survey method through online and randomly distribution paper to respondents in order to figure out the data and results. Therefore, 257 questionnaires had been answered on this study and were analysed by descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and logistic regression. The results show that electronic cigarettes are preferable and most of low income are favour on this good. The results also show significant that the variable of income, education and occupation is relatively to electronic cigarettes. Lastly, the result also shown that the data is significantly fit well on this study.
