Abstract
This is a study about the process of stage lighting design in a theatre production. The researcher was appointed as a stage lighting designer for Keluarga Borjuis, a theatre production directed by Abdul Walid Ali. The researcher used this production as a platform to explain the objectives of this study. A description of the role and importance of the stage lighting design as well as an explanation of the process of designing stage lighting in both writing and visual. The researcher also has been introduced solutions to solve the problem during the whole process of stage lighting design. This study aims to be one of the references and information to the readers on the process of stage lighting design.
