Abstract

This study was conducted at Uma Lahanan Sungai Asap, Belaga located in Daerah Kecil Sungai Asap, Belaga. The purpose ofthis study is to know the management of the ritual of Savik which is practiced by the people ofLahanan and to describe the meaning ofSavik ritual with deeper. To carry out this study, a qualitative method was used with residents of Uma Lahanan Sungai Asap, Belaga was interviewed to obtain information related to the Savik ritual. Savik ritual is a unique ritual and needs to be organized systematically so that every program can run smoothly. In conclusion, proposals have been made to hold the Savik ritual in the Sungai Asap Belaga community, Belaga as an annual activity that must be welcomed by the residents ofUma Lahanan especially and the people in the Daerah Kecil Sungai Asap.
