Abstract
Marine zooplankton is soft and fragile anImals whIch plays a key role in the food chains of the sea The main purpose of thIs study was to record the zooplankton community structure and its relation wllh the water quality. Plankton net was used to take the samples from 5 different stations As results, 8 taxa of zooplankton have been identified The denSity of zoo plankton ranged fro m 008 ll1dlm 1 to 353 ind/m 3 The d'stflbulJ on of zooplankton communIty structure was Influenced by temperature, pH, transparency, dIssolved oxygen, salInity, and cond uctivIty Water parame ters co ntrol the reproductive rate, populatIOn size and metabol ism of many species The data of zoopl ankton community structure can be used as a database for future research and biological monitoring and management of the area.
