Abstract
A new series of mono-organotin (IV) complexes have been synthesized successfully by condensation reaction of RSnCI, (R=Me, Bu, Ph) with bis-methyl-2-pyridyl ketone thiocarbohydrazone (ClsHION6S) ligand (1), The mono-organotin (IV) complexes [RSnCh (C1sHsN6S)] (2-4) were characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic methods such as infrared, UV-Visible, lH NMR spectroscopy, From these spectral analyses, the ligand acted as bidentate and these affect the tin (IV) atom favoured to have 6-coordination numbers, The antibacterial activities of synthesized compounds were evaluated towards pathogenic E. coli through turbidimetric kinetic method, However, there was none of all synthesized compounds showed good antibacterial activity against E.eoli at the different concentration,
