Abstract
Community engagement is very important in tourism and take place as a key factor to the development of tourist destination. This involvement is still not encouraging due to some problems and cause they begin to withdraw. They even not to give attention to any development abaout the homestay. This research is focusing on the problems that exist and how the community involve in the homestay service. This research conducted using observation and interviews with the community of Kampung Mongkos.
