Abstract
The handicraft industry is a growing industry today. But this situation is somewhat contrary to the development of this industry in Sarawak as the response from the locals is very poor towards this handicraft but a more favorable response from foreign tourists. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify factors affecting the interest of tourists in Sarawak handicraft. A total of 150 foreign tourists from various continents were selected to carry out this study. A set of questionnaires that contains 33 items, using the likert scale. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 23. Overall, the findings showed that the factors affecting the interest of tourists towards sarawak handicraft were due to the price factor which affects the interest of foreign tourists towards Sarawak handicraft.
