Abstract

The main objective of this study is to identify the relationship between leadership role and job satisfaction. This study examined the relationship between achievement oriented leadership to job satisfaction and also to examine the relationship between participative leadership to job satisfaction. The results indicated that there is positive relationship between leadership roles and job satisfaction. The achievement oriented leadership and the participative leadership was also found have a positive relationship to job satisfaction. This study also has been supported by theory such Path Goal Theory and also empirical evidence that showed there is positive relationship between leadership roles and job satisfaction. Based on studied by Ali Mohammad and Mohammad Hossien in Isfahan University Hospitals, Isfahan, Iran 2004. To examine the relationship between leadership roles and job satisfaction, 108 samples of employees and employers that working in Hospital Umum Sarawak (HUS) has been taken in order to examine the relationship among variable. For overall, this study provides guidelines to help organization or employers on how to practices the leadership style so that it can give a strong job satisfaction among worker and employers.
