Abstract

Performance appraisal literatures advocate that employees or workers perception towards communication practices and their participation or involvement in performance appraisal process influence their job's satisfaction. From the theoretical evidences, a conceptual framework was developed and experimented using quantitative research data obtaining technique. 56 survey questionnaires have been successfully collected from respondents who are employees in Kota Samarahan department of health of Sarawak Result of statistical testing using Pearson correlation technique (SPSS version 15) indicated that perception of workers toward communication practices and participation in performance appraisal process in organization give effect to their job satisfaction. These research finding is going to help to strengthen performance appraisal theories or concepts, improve the research methodology and importantly to contribute clear guideline to Human Resource Practitioners in regard to perform performance evaluation process in organization.
