Abstract

The development in broadcasting and radio communication systems has come along with the importance of designing equipment for television receiver system. In order to achieve the good signal in transmission, one of the most important parts for the receiver system is UHF TV booster. This project is to help in receiving UHF signal instead of using antenna. The UHF TV booster will amplify the weak signal from antenna for good reception in receiver. The main purpose of this project is to increase the aerial signal amplitude with a very low noise. The design of VHF transistor booster amplifier will be as references to design the project. Nevertheless, there are several factors that should be considered such as the aerial signal, noise-signal, signal-noise ratio and signal amplifier.
