Abstract
Engineering Drawing is a new subject recently introduced in Sekolah Menengah Teknik Kuching, Sarawak in 1998 following the changes in the Kurikulum Baru Sekolah Menengah (KBSM). A study has been carried out to investigate the nature of factors that influence the achievement of students and their perceptions toward their teachers attitude, family influences, peer group influences, self knowledge and desire on Engineering Drawing. All the five factors do played an important role in influencing their achievement. Sixty form five students are randomly pick to serve as respondents from three Engineering courses which are the Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
