Abstract

Enlerococcus faecal's ATTC2a IS a lactic acid bactena that able to ferment glucose at high temperature. It produces high concentration of lact1C acid. There is no report on this strain since it IS a new isolated microorganism in the laboratory of Biofuel, R&D in UNIMAS. Therefore, the effect of the temperature on the growing of Enterococcusfaecalis ATTC2a on glucose based media was studied and modelled using Ratkowsky model equation nusing batch fennentation mode, The temperatures tested were 30 0 C, 35 0C 40 0 C, 45 0 C, and 50 0 C, Under the conditions tested- the corresponding maximum growth rates (h - ) were 0.362- 0.495 0.441 , 0.421 and 0.732 respectively.
