Abstract
This research is to identify whether Yasmin Ahmad's film has Malaysian identity. In this research,. bring up some doubt and question about what is the real meaning of Malaysian identity? Our local films made based on the Malaysian identity or Malay identity? The result ofthe survey answers some doubts that exist during research for Malaysian identity that existed in Yasmin Ahmad's films. To see whether there is Malaysian identity in Yasmin Ahmad'sfilms, hence this thesis is applied in short video title "Chopstick"
