Abstract
This research investigate the impact of the goal setting component of the Appraisal System among the support group staff at the Chief Minister's Department using action research. The objective were to determine the impact of good setting on support staff, reason why the evaluators did not perform the mid-term review, ways to improve effective implementation goal setting and initiating goal setting review
