Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the relationship between stress, coping strategies and resilience among civil servants at Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR), Langkawi. The method employed in this research was quantitative methods: descriptive and inferential tests when the data was collected from questionnaires. The questionnaire that employed in this study was The Job Stress Questionnaire, The Lazarus Coping Style and The Resilience Scale. There were 51 respondents involved in this research. The data was analysed using Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 20. The test that used for this research was Pearson Correlation. The result showed that level of stress worker was average. The finding showed that there was a relationship between coping strategies and stress. However, the finding also showed there was no relationship between resilience and stress.
