Facebook is the most popular social networking site among Malaysian as well as throughout the world. Facebook has now become a daily basic need especially among university students as it is a convenient medium to deliver information and socialize when online. Nevertheless, frequent use of Facebook may lead to Facebook addiction. The phenomenon of Facebook addiction in Malaysia is rising among university students, particularly female students.
