Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between factors that affecting teachers’ career development. The study was done at Marudi, Baram in Sarawak. The study was conducted in three choosen schools which are Good Shepherd Primary School, Dato Sharif Hamid Primary School and SJK Sungai Jaong Primary School. A total of 100 questionnaires were usable for this study. The variables were tested using Pearson Correlation Coefficient to indicate the strength for each of the variables with teachers’ career development. This study aims to identify factors that affecting teachers’ career development at Baram areas. This study conducted to determine the relationship between selected factors which are supervisory support, recognition and work environment. The contributions of this study and recommendations for human resource practitioners, organizations and future researchers were also further discussed
