Abstract

Negative perception and acceptance of a male nurse have potentially to limit professional development of males in nursing profession. This cross-sectional descriptive study explored the UNIMAS female nursing student's perception and acceptance of a male nurse in three different aspects namely social, educational and clinical as well as the relationship between demographics data and the perception and acceptance.
